The second of two films of the Unwin family at home and on holiday, owners of Unwins the Builders, Histon, Cambridgeshire.
Opening scenes show the garden of the family home at Histon, and the children in the Unwins builders' yard. Baby John appears in various shots from 1942, and a young girl feeds rabbits bred for eating. In 1947, the children play on Hunstanton beach and go shrimping. In Southwold, shots of the boating lake, the Unwin's summer house on the cliff (since destroyed by erosion) and general beach scenes. The Cringleford house is featured before scenes of a family holiday at Cromer and Sheringham. A bible meeting takes place on the beach and the lifeboat is hauled down the slipway. There is a colour sequence of Cromer beach, together with an unidentified location. There are more views of the family house, Unwins builders' yard, and the family Austin 7. The film ends with a close-up of a woman knitting at Cromer.
