Cat no. 688
A visit to the village of Mickfield.
A thatched cottage, followed by a shot of the main street in Mickfield, Suffolk. Outside her cottage, formerly the Mickfield Dragon Public House, Mrs. Pauline Rogers tends her garden. In the garden of her home, the former village school, Mrs. Becky O'Rourke admires some horses. The village church is in the background. This was recently downgraded to a Chapel of Ease. Outside the village store Mrs. Jean Booking tends to her roses. Jean Goodman visits Michael Burke's fish farm. Whilst showing her around the farm, situated in attractive gardens, Burke explains that he was a farmer but thought fish farming might be more fun and more profitable. Among the fish shown are Japanese Hoi Carp and Clown Fish. At the Jigsaw Puzzle Centre Jean Goodman watches jigsaws being manufactured. The factory is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Kelly.
