The Southwold ferry; a sugar beet factory, and scenes at Boxbush Farm, Bedingfield.

Scenes of the main street in the village of Bedingfield. A car crosses on the Southwold Ferry from Walberswick to Southwold. The car drives off the ferry. There are views of the beach at Southwold with Southwold Pier. The next scenes are at a sugar beet factory. They show sugar beet being delivered by a fleet of lorries and by cart. Railway wagons are emptied. A queue of lorries wait to enter the gate. The final scenes feature a Fordson tractor and other tractors pulling various pieces of farm machinery, including a cultivator, a harrow and a roller. There is an early, tractor-drawn sugar beet harvester. Tractor mounted hoes are displayed at a demonstration. There is also a hand operated version. Finally, a view of a gyrotiller at work.
