Said 'A Cinema here we will build.' Thus the men who soon worked might and main gave the house that is now nicely filled. Now Adam's a name that's as old as the age, And Mortimer's work is said by the sages, Is well executed - being given great care, Because builders like Adams are now very spare. That is why Adams & Mortimer built the Whitehall. They use only first class labour and the finest materials. Adams & Mortimer's happy gang snapped during various stages of the building of the Whitehall. Take particular note of the WEE apprentices.Adams & Mortimer. Every brick well laid. Good pint and plenty of it. The proprietors of THE WHITEHALL desire to tender their sincere thanks and appreciation to Messrs Adams and Mortimer for all their advice and interest in the building of this Cinema - the comfort of which we hope you may all long enjoy.
