Shots of the showground and stands and then a sequence showing fire engines, some vintage and some new. A land rover climbs a steep ramp to display its road holding capacity. There is a shot of people being taken up to view the showground from a crane. There are shots from the crane. There is a parade of cattle and in the ring there is a show jumping competition and a gun-carriage display. The film shows the preliminary heats and the final of the Norfolk Farm Machinery Club's tractor driving competition. In the preliminary heats, the drivers have to negotiate a variety of obstacles without upsetting a milk churn on a trailer. In the final, held in the ring, they have to put out a fire in a barrel.
