The activities of the St Raphael Club, Norwich run by handicapped people.
The opening sequence shows a typical club night at the St. Raphael Club. It shows handicapped people arriving at the club, some in wheelchairs and some on foot. This sequence shows some early motorised wheelchairs. The orchestra, some of who are handicapped themselves, play. There are various activities at the club. People sit and sew and knit, play cards and draughts. They play table tennis and there is also leather work in progress. Tea is served and then the President and Secretary of the Club are introduced. There is a committee meeting. The evening ends with less formal musicianship and singing. The next sequence shows the St. Raphael Club's Fourth Autumn Fair in the Stuart Hall. It shows indoor sequence of the fete of which Ruth Hardy, Lord Mayor of Norwich, is the guest of honour.
