Background Information

Horsey Wind pump was struck by lightning in 1943. It was purchased by the National Trust in 1948 and restored. The Berney Arms Windmill is not a National Trust Property. The twin Churches at South Walsham are St. Mary's (complete) and St. Lawrence's (ruined). The latter originally had a thatched roof and burned down during the 19th century.
