Amateur film showing Broadland and family scenes. The bird life of the Broads features strongly.

Brief exterior shots of the Hall at How Hill, followed by a long sequence showing two small children and their two dogs feeding mallards on the river, sometimes accompanied by two women. Part of this sequence is shot on a private stretch of river bank. There is an ornamental pot in the background at times. Other parts of this may be shot at Cockshoot Broad. The mallards are filmed on the river, in flight and landing. Following a trail of food laid by the women, the ducks cross a footbridge in single file. The black and white sequence ends with a shot of a marsh pump and a sailing yacht. The next sequence is a colour sequence, shot from a moving boat. This shows houses, boathouses and gardens by the river at Wroxham. There is a houseboat moored by the bank. There are shots of sailing boats tacking and of motor boats, including the pleasure boat 'Queen Of The Broads'. There is a shot of the Horning Ferry Inn and of the houses at Horning. The birds filmed include a heron on the bank and grebe on the water. Among the sailing boats is a commercial barge. The sequence continues to film along the river showing a camp site, a house converted from a windmill and finishes with a shot of St. Benet's Abbey.
