The floods at Horsey in 1938.

Aerial views of the village and then a shot of the Martham Ferry. The ferryman and his border collie wait by the quay. The ferry isn't running because no cars can get to it. There are shots of flooded roads including the Horsey to Somerton road. There are shots of flooded fields showing men going about their business in rowing boats. The Horsey Mill wind pump at work, although there was nowhere to drain the water too. A man in waterproofs wades through the water. Shots show the damage done to farm buildings. The postman is taken on his rounds by rowing boat to outlying farms cut off by the flood waters. There is a shot of the Post Office and further flood scenes.
