Astra Gazette newsreel showing the presentation to trainees of the No. 3 flying school, Feltwell. This included the first award of the Silver Harvard Trophy for aerobatics.
Acting Pilot Officer Clark receives the Silver Harvard Trophy for aerobatics from Mrs. Brown, given in memory of her son, an instructor who died the year before. Mrs. Brown is accompanied by Group Captain Cameron who presents other prizes. Acting Pilot Officer Perry (or Parry) receives a trophy for ground training and Acting Pilot Officer Leach receives a trophy for the higher assessment marks in all aspects of flying training. Finally the men march past the officer in charge.
