The Trampoliners: Inside the gymnasium of Loxford School, Ilford, boys are trampolining under the instruction of Mr. Blake. Various jumps and somersaults, some of them in slow motion, various boys perform the different techniques they have learnt. On Parade: In St. John's Wood, David Coppin, helped by his sister, Amanda, and his brother, Nicholas, makes model soldiers from old lead figures and other pieces of 'junk'. The figures are modelled on pictures found in packets of cigarettes. The three of them are shown making the models. At the end there is a close-up shot of the model and examples of some of David's work. Millhouse Home of Mr. Harry Pettitt. Hilary and Merilyn Pettitt are on their ponies outside H. West Stores in Ardleigh. They ride home to Millhouse, the home of their family. Here they are greeted through the window by their father, Harry Pettit, an artist. Joined by their younger brother, Harry Jr., the girls collect leaves and grasses to help their father in his work; he illustrates nature books. On returning they go to his studio where we see examples of his work. The children return to playing outside and canoeing on the millpond until their mother calls them in for tea.
