Pest control of cattle.

On a farm owned by Major Agnew at Rougham, near Bury St. Edmunds, the film begins with high-angle shots showing Friesian cattle in a farmyard and farmyard buildings. The cattle are led into a channel where each individual animal is treated by having a measured amount of a chemical substance poured over its back. This is repeated on different animals. There are close-up shots of the procedures. A chart shows the treatment periods - March until early June and mid-September to mid-November. The film ends showing the cattle re-entering the field after treatment.
