Unedited rushes of Norvic Shoes factory workers.
These shots show parts of the process making ladies' shoes for Bally. The film begins with a long shot of a man in a functional office. Women black the edges of cut leather. Others work a stamping machine and a hand operated heat gluing apparatus. A long line of women work sewing machines to stitch the leather pieces together. On another floor a man operated another heat gluing machine. There are long shots showing general factory scenes. (There is a gap in the film at this point.) Another man works a machine that nails the leather to the sole. A woman sticks the inside sock bases into the shoe and finally the shoes are boxed. In another department we see a man hand cutting leather using a template.
