Jubilee celebrations and an air display.

The opening sequence is shot in Dufaycolor. It shows Guildhall Hill decked out in flags for the celebrations for the silver jubilee of King George V. The Guildhall is also decorated. There is a large crowd gathered and a banner reading God Save The King - 1910 - 1935. Part of the procession is shown as it passes down Guildhall Hill. It is led by soldiers on horseback. A carriage carries the Carnival Queen. Other people parade in fancy dress, or ride bicycles. There are decorated floats. One is decorated as a battleship, another represents the fire service c. 1753 and one representing the empire. The Salvation Army band plays. The second sequence, shot nearly a year earlier, shows scenes from Sir Alan Cobham's Air Display at Norwich Airport, Mousehold Heath in 1934. A bi-plane takes off and then a larger aeroplane, G-ABYX. There are shots of aeroplanes doing aerobatics, including swooping low over the crowd. From inside a flying aeroplane we see some shots of the Norfolk Countryside, although a little more of the aeroplane wing. Shots include the aerodrome and Barnard's Ltd factory. The aeroplane lands. Finally a glider is towed into the air.
