The Wedding of Mr W.H. Saunders to Miss K.M Vincent.
The film begins and ends with shots of a moody sky. Throughout the film there is evidence that the weather was changeable, moving from bright sunlight to a heavy downpour. There are shots of the Church Tower and then numerous well-dressed guests arrive on foot and from cars and enter the Church. Most of the men are wearing top hats and tails. The Groom and the best man arrive. The best man is having a cigarette. They show the wedding ring to the camera. The vicar arrives after several of the guests, though fortunately before the bride. Four bridesmaids and a page boy arrive and pose for the camera. The bride is helped out of a car by her father. Her train is adjusted before she enters the church. The second sequence of the film shows the guests emerging from the Church and milling around outside. The newly married couple emerge from the Church, pose for the camera and have rice thrown over them. They get into a car. The bridesmaids, looking rather chilly, do likewise and there is a shot of the Bride's mother and father leaving the church. The third sequence shows the guests at the reception, held in a marquee. The couple greet the guests as they arrive. In the marquee, speeches are made and the bride and groom cut the cake. Outside, the couple, bridesmaids and parents pose for the camera. There are further shots of the guests drinking and joking. These include a policeman. The bride and groom leave in a car, registration number UU 7116 down a tree lined road on which tram lines are visible.
