In the presence of royalty a yacht is launched at Brooke Marine, Lowestoft
There is a shot of a flag, a static shot of the programme, the ship in dry dock and the band. There are shots of the crowd awaiting the launch. Princess Alice, having received a bouquet, talks to a young girl. Workmen remove wedges from under the ship; the champagne bottle breaks and the ship slides down the slipway into the water. The vessel is manoeuvred by tugs. The band plays and Princess Alice talks to some of the crowd and to the shipyard workers. There are some scenes of the official reception in the marquee. These include Princess Alice making a speech
