Scenes in King's Lynn, c.1944.

The first sequence is shot around Kings Lynn harbour. Fishermen are working on and around their boats. Their activities include digging for worms, painting the boats and mending their nets. The second sequence shows Lynn characters, many in close-up. These include a very dirty small boy, a fisherman, a man having his hair combed by a young boy and a character with a pipe. On the High Street in the town centre people are window shopping. Some of the windows are decorated with Union flags. Their is an American flag hanging above Marks and Spencer's. Two American servicemen are talking in the street. The film ends with shots of the Pilot Cinema and several pubs and their signs.
