Background Information

British Screen Tatler was conceived as a sister cinemagazine to the newsreel, British Screen News. It was made by British Screen Pictures and distributed every Monday for two years [1928-1930]. The series' name, reminiscent as it is of the print magazine, The Tatler, suggests that British Screen Pictures had aspirational aims in mind for its content.
