Holiday scenes at Butlins.
The film begins with scenes from a Punch and Judy show. There are also shots of the (mainly young) audience watching. A beauty contest follows. The film shows the contestants, shots from the audience and then the winner. She is 'kissed' by two of the men present. Carnival scenes follow with shots of the floats. Most of these are decorated two person pedal vehicles. One carries Eric Winstone and his band. There are also shots of square dancing. In the ballroom campers dance a Lambeth Walk type dance. There are shots of the singer and the bandleader. Outside there are firstly children and then adults walking en masse past the tennis courts. There are scenes from the swimming pool including racing and diving. There are shots from a small scale steam railway, pulling open carriages. Finally there are fairground scenes showing children on the gallopers and the chair-o-planes
