Amateur skating competition.
After the opening title, policemen on skates are seen struggling to erect the barriers. One on them falls over. There are some shots of the skating. The course is marked by barrels and the contestants' race against each other on a knock-out or time trail basis. Cyril Horn is seen competing. Spectators are on the ice but away from the course. At the end a man makes a speech to the camera. He congratulates Mr. Horn for his third victory and shakes him by the hand before presenting him with the trophy. There is a brief close up shot of this.
