The pleasures of Great Yarmouth as a holiday destination.

Amateur film. Huddersfield Station. A full platform and then a stream train leaving the station. There are views of the rails and the countryside as the train passes, including Lincoln Cathedral. Nearer to Great Yarmouth there are Broads scenes and shots over Breydon Water. In Great Yarmouth, there are long and close-up shots of the Central Hotel. The first of these offers a good street scene, showing a few cars parked. There is a shot of a thinly populated beach and then a sequence showing some of the tourist attractions in Yarmouth. These include the Wellington and Britannia Piers and the Windmill Theatre. A static shot of a parked bus advertising a trip to Sandringham is followed by a shot of a sign at the Norfolk Boating Station advertising a trip to Wroxham Broad. The next sequence is filmed from the boat. There are general Broads scenes and a shot of the Berney Arms Windmill. Back in Yarmouth, there are shots of the Town Hall. These show a busy commercial street scene. There are also views along the Quay and of the port area. On the sea front there is a lengthy sequence from Pixieland, a play area for small children before the final sequence which shows the market. There are general market scenes, local people standing chatting or shopping and several stalls. These include butchers, fruit and vegetable stalls and fly pitchers as well as the chip stalls for which Yarmouth market is famous.
