Promotional film about the wonders of holidaying in Great Yarmouth.

The film begins with a sound recording of a telephone call between two people arranging to meet in Great Yarmouth. The picture shows an animated map of East Anglia, the principle road and rail routes to Yarmouth forming across it. At an unknown aerodrome, Jack Hobbs boards a light aircraft, destination Great Yarmouth.There are aerial views of Yarmouth and of Gorleston. These show the principle features of the resorts including the Wellington Pier and the Britannia Pier. The 'plane lands and Hobbs alights to meet Miss Watts. The two of them stroll through the gardens at the sea front before taking tea at the Winter Gardens on the Wellington Pier. A tea dance is in progress. Other attractions viewed are the swimming pool, the roller coaster on the Pleasure Beach, tennis courts a bowling green and the Yarmouth Races. At Gorleston the two go for a trip in a speed boat, the Miss Wellington, although the scene was shot with Kathleen Daw. There are scenes of the harbour and of gulls feeding on the beach. There are also scenes of a concert party in performance.There is a sequence shot at night showing the illuminations at Yarmouth, including the water gardens, showing an illuminated boat passing through, and dancing at the Winter Gardens. This scene is rather more crowded than the tea dance scene filmed earlier. There are shots of the Pleasure Beach illuminated and the film closes with a firework display. Throughout the film the commentary emphasises what a perfect place Yarmouth is.
