The visit of HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to Mark Hall school, Harlow, October 30th 1957.

The film opens with a close-up shot of the Harlow crest and the Union flag. A high-angle shot shows the exterior of the school and the arrival of the royal motorcade. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are greeted by local dignitaries, including Mr Gerald Palmer the Headmaster of the school, Sir Richard Costain, Chairman of the Harlow Development Corporation and Ben Hyde-Harvey, the General Manager. The Queen and the Duke are shown round the school. There are exterior shots and interior shots showing a woodwork lesson taking place. The children gather of the field to wave to the Royal couple as they drive off against a background of corporation houses in East Park. The crowd disperses and the final shot is of Union flags and a message reading God save the Queen.
