An interview between Dick Bagnall-Oakeley and George Buck, a former warrener on Bodney Airfield.
Mr. Buck is now working as a labourer on Hopfield farm where the interview takes place. Mr. Buck explains that he thought rabbiting would no longer be viable and that he decided to have a change, he wishes he had stayed on because he could have had a job on the airfield. In wartime rabbits were farmed and he earned a good living. During his best season he caught 5,600 rabbits. The rabbit season was from mid-September to late March. He talks about myxomatosis. In this section of the interview he displays a fondness for rabbits that is indicative of farmers and their animals.
