The coaster Calyx docking at Southwold.
The short film consists of four shots. The first shows the coaster Calyx attempting to dock at Southwold. The crew are attempting to pull the boat in. The second shows the coaster trying to turn in the harbour. The third shot shows the Calyx hitting the harbour wall. The last shot is of the Calyx berthed. Some men walk by on the quay.

The small coaster, Calyx used to be used as a dredger for harbour improvements. It had become stuck in the mud and this film shows the attempts to free the boat
