There are scenes from a baby show and of the Carnival Queen, Catherine (Kitty) Jacobs. Rossi’s ice cream shop features and there is a shot of the girls employed there lined up by the door. A street scene follows with a variety of vehicles and then fairground some shots. These include many rides and the Kursaal dance hall. There are scenes from a pleasure garden which depict various amusements including a boating lake and a miniature railway. More public houses and small businesses follow. There are shots of yachts and barges. The Ship Yard Hotel is followed by Tussauds Waxworks. People in deck chairs are watching a concert party. This is followed by an exterior shot of the Falcon Hotel and its staff and the Railway Hotel and its proprietoress. There is also a man with a performing monkey. Carnival shots with the queen, crowds, the procession and fairground precede a shot of a bowls team and another shot of the junction shown earlier.
