1928 Royal Norfolk Show with the Duke of Gloucester as President of the show.

Background Information

This is believed to be a local newsreel shown at the Regent Cinema, Prince of Wales Road. (Now the Cannon/ABC.) In its early years, the Norfolk, Show alternated between Norwich and Swaffham. Later the show travelled the county before settling on its purpose built site at Costessey.In 1928, the Norfolk Agricultural Association was celebrating the 21st Anniversary of Edward VII granting it the right to use the prefix 'Royal'. The Duke of Gloucester was the President of the Show.
