Background Information

This is an F.A. Cup First Round tie. Played at Leicester, the first match on January 11th, 1913, was abandoned after 65 minutes because of a snowstorm. This is the second attempt that was played on January 16th. Norwich won 4-1, their goals scored by Osborne, Hughes, Woodlands and Wolstenhulme. Norwich City were knocked out of the cup the next round, Bristol Rovers beating them after a second replay.
