Horning Regatta 1936
This all-comers race includes Yare and Bure One Designs (known as White Boats) and various other half decker and dinghy classes. There are also some Norfolk punts in the general shots of a crowded river.

Background Information
Victor Harrison was a cine enthusiast and the owner of a chain of cinemas across East Anglia.The Horning Town Sailing Club was formed in 1910, with its headquarters at the Swan Hotel, Horning. The club grew and prospered until 1938 when an amalgamation of several clubs took place to form the Norfolk Broads Yacht Club. The Horning Town Sailing Club ceased as a separate entity.
