A sales promotion for the Baby Expelair, made by Expelair Ltd, a subsidiary of Woods of Colchester.
The film starts with ground level street shots, presumably of London, as the fictional Managing Director (identified by his parking space) of a wholesalers is driving into work. Most of the film concerns the sales promotion for the Baby Expelair. As the camera remains behind the Managing Director, it appears that the salesman is talking to the viewer. The film shows some street scenes in Colchester, including The George Hotel and Woods new factory in Tufnell Way. Briaswick. There are interior shots of the factory, showing production of the Baby Expelair and a largely male workforce. Woods private plane is shown taking off from Boxted Airdrome. The film shows exterior and interior shots of a modern semi-detached house, a 17th century house and a bathroom of a modern flat. The film gives an idea of the early 1960s building boom. There is also a still of an 1962 advertising leaflet.
