Colchester Carnival 1934.

This film shows a good general view of the Carnival of 1934. The early scenes are taken in a residential street with cars parked along the road; later scenes are taken at the top of Queen Street. Many of the floats are shown; some are still horse-drawn. There are military bands and people in fancy dress. The Household Cavalry are filmed taking part in the procession. People throw money at the floats to add to the collection.
