Entertainment at Clacton-On-Sea

The film begins with a still of a billboard poster announcing 'Clacton Welcomes You'. The film shows scenes of performances by the Rambla Concert Party and of the pleasure steamer at sea and at the pier. After a brief shot of a public garden, the Guinness clock, then a general view of the beach with the pier in the background. The end of the film shows rough seas and the helter skelter blown down in the winter of 1953 - 54.
