Collecting and fund raising for Poppy Day in Cambridge
The film shows scenes from the rag carnival and the poppy day collection. Various receptacles for money are highlighted, including a chamber pot and a beer mug. Some stunts are featured, including a flour battle in punts on the River Cam, a fire eater and a man offering to read the purple passages from Lady Chatterley's Lover - at a price. The film ends with shots of the money being counted.
