Background Information
This film was produced for Heritage Open Day (HOD) 2020. The HODs 2020 theme was 'Hidden Nature'. This new work combines EAFA archive film with new ‘alternative voice-overs’ written by the University of East Anglia's Professor Steve Waters and recorded by UEA drama alumni 'UEA Ensemble LAB'. The voice-over is an extract taken from a longer monologue written by Professor Steve Waters and created for his AHRC funded project ‘The Song of the Reed: Dramatising Conservation'.
