Home movie footage of the varied program of events at East Anglia’s popular agricultural show, the Royal Norfolk Show.

Amateur recording of the 1969 Royal Norfolk Show, the largest agricultural show in the East of England. An important feature of this three-day agricultural event is the showing of livestock – heavy horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep – the finest looking specimens for judging. The 1969 programme also features equestrian showjumping, trade stands, a ‘best in show’ competition for dogs, a military horse parade and marching band in the main ring, and a most impressive gymnastics display.
