BBC Look East interview with Suffolk artist Don Tibbenham, and showing examples of his paintings.

Interview with artist Don Tibbenham, who worked successfully in London in advertising for many years before retiring to Suffolk to paint and write for pleasure. Mr Tibbenham talks about his series of paintings, explaining the inspiration for his abstract art and explaining what he is trying to convey, accompanied by footage showing his paintings. One of his pictures shows a dark skinned woman holding a light skinned child to symbolise the merging of the races. As well as his more abstract art there are portraits reworked from stills of English actor Sid James and politician Enoch Powell. Mr Tibbenham then talks about the standard of art used in advertising. This film was transmitted to accompany a BBC East news story as part of the regional news broadcast.
