BBC Look East news interview with 'Champion Town Crier of Great Britain', Alfie Howard.
Town crier, Alfie Howard, wearing traditional dress including a black tricorn hat, makes a public announcement in the traditional manner at Cromer seafront. A BBC Look East reporter interviews Mr Howard, asking what inspired the town crier to take up the tradition, and as holder of the title ‘Champion Town Crier of Great Britain’ also questions him about his training schedule. Mr Howard lists what he thinks are the great qualities that make a good town crier. Alfie Howard then gives another public announcement, demonstrating his great vocal skills and manner as the town crier of Cromer.
