A BBC Look East news story showing the use of medical colour television equipment to broadcast a surgical operation.

The ‘Smith, Kline and French Laboratories Ltd’ medical color television broadcasting unit truck stands in the grounds of a hospital. Inside the hospital, the broadcasting unit record the procedure as surgeons operate on a patient in theatre, with men looking on from a separate room where there are a number of TV monitors.
