Robinson's Robinade: Only a Shilling

1950s

Animated cinema advertisement for Robinson's Robinade shilling tins.

An animated woman exclaims 'look what I've bought for the children', with five young faces cheering 'Robinade' in unison before launching into song about the product, costing 'only a shilling' with '5 luverly flavours'. The woman joins in with the song, claiming 'it's ever so easily mixed' and later adding that 'a shilling tin makes fourteen glasses', before a young boy pops up to remind viewers that 'you can get penny packets too!'
