A BBC Look East report from Peterborough's Multiracial Education Centre where Vietnamese refugees are learning English.

Wen Hu Nee, a Vietnamese student and maths teacher by profession, explains that for him learning English is an essential factor in order to be able to get a job. A representative of the Multiracial Education Centre speaks on behalf of the Vietnamese students, defending the refugees against the accusations and moral panic that some of the them would rather depend on state support than accept menial work.
