BBC Look East report from Cranfield University showing a new invention created by a PhD student: an electronic device to analyse brainwave activity, that can be used by epilepsy sufferers to help manage their condition. The new device helps to predict the onset of a seizure, which is a characteristic symptom of the neurological condition. Interview with Dr Douglas Russell, the inventor of the new brainwave recorder device, who has received the accolade of Chancellor Award for his doctoral research.
