Policeman Beaten

c. 1900

A short by Hertfordshire film pioneer Arthur Melbourne-Cooper.

A woman beats the dust from a rug in her backyard until she is interrupted by a policeman. The pair hug and kiss until another man - the woman's husband - approaches, prompting the policeman to hide under the rug. When the husband takes over the beating, his heavy blows send the policeman scurrying and a fight ensues.
