An Anglia Television mute news report on a sculpture created for a garden in Chelmsford.

British sculptor T.B. Huxley-Jones is at work in his studio, putting the finishing touches to a final casting model for his sculpture 'Mother and Child'. Destined to take pride of place in Chelmsford's new Central Park Memorial Gardens, the sculpture features a mother and child locked in a balletic pose, and would later win an award from the Royal Society of British Sculptors.

Background Information

Huxley-Jones' sculpture won an award from the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1966, and after years of neglect, was fully-renovated in 2009.
