Vision from an Anglia Television news item which follows a group of East Anglian skaters competing in a roller skating competition in Alexandra Park, London.

Having arrived by coach, the East Anglian team cross the carpark and ascend the stairs in front of Alexandra Palace. Inside, the roller rink competitors warm-up and make the final adjustments to their routines. The competition gets underway with a young female competitor, who performs skips and an extended one-foot glide to an applauding crowd. Adult female competitors are next, with two women performing a series of spins and jumps. The film concludes with action from the junior male category, as a young man performs a range of leg extensions, twists and spins.
