Anglia television agricultural show ‘special’; outtakes from ‘The Essex Show’.

As part of a trio of agricultural show ‘specials’, Anglia television filmed activity at 'The Essex Show'. Proof that a television presenter will do anything to engage with their viewers, a piece to camera is delivered from the top of a huge grain container in the opening scene. Further outtakes include demonstrations of mechanised equipment from industry suppliers; show jumping entrant “Silver Playboy” completing the field event to rapturous applause; and farmers preparing their livestock at the ‘cattle wash’, before parading their prize-winning bulls and posing for the camera. Two young Canadian visitors give their opinions and highlights of the events; and a further interview with a show organiser reveals The Essex Show has a successful future.
