This home movie, part of the Kim Dowe collection, features highlights from a day of racing at the Silverstone circuit in the early 1960s. Action from various classes of racing are shown, beginning with a sports car class that features racing models by Ferrari, Morgan and Porsche, amongst others. A series of open-wheel formula racing classes are also shown, followed by a hectic saloon class race in the wet, which features a Mini driver losing control, and a tight battle between another Mini and a Ford Zephyr.
