Anglia Television report on a new word to describe the act of kissing.

Following a recent court case in which a judge had to have the term 'snogging' explained to him by a nine-year-old girl, an Anglia Television correspondent takes to the streets to see what the East Anglian public make of this new slang term. As the question is posed, members of the public are either perplexed, or try to explain its meaning with a mixture of good humour and mild embarrassment. One young man confidently, if a little sheepishly, explains its meaning, which eludes an older man. Terms such as 'necking' and 'spooning' prove to be better known amongst the older members of the crowd, with 'snogging' remaining the preserve of the younger generation.
