Anglia television news item of the construction of Sizewell Nuclear Power station and the positioning of the reactor lid.

A view from an elevated position of the partly constructed nuclear reactor at Sizewell, the North Sea visible in the background. The huge dome-shaped lid of the reactor chamber, covered in control-rod entry tubes, is lifted by gantry from a transport. Two engineers look on as the lid is manoeuvred around the reactor pressure vessel. A final view shows the gantry and reactor lid by the side of the power station.
