A toddler and his dog explore the English countryside.
Amateur filmmaker and cinema historian H.A.V. Bulleid brings the English countryside to life with vivid colour photography in an adventure of a young boy and his canine companion. With family members picking fruit, walking in the countryside or snoozing in the summer sun, a toddler sets out on a rural adventure. Out of the gate and onto country lanes, he encounters the sights, sounds and textures of the Surrey countryside. The family dog, sitting obediently at home, senses danger and sets out to search for the boy. Reunited, the pair wander the lanes together until it is time to return home to the safety of the yard, and to the arms of mother, who remains oblivious to their grand adventure.
