BBC Look East news story on how the Ipswich Post Office is coping with the Christmas rush.

In the run-up to Christmas, Royal Mail workers at Ipswich’s sorting office work hard to deal with the high volume of letters and parcels; emptying sacks of mail onto the counter, and sorting letters by machine and by hand. Mr Wood explains why the Ipswich depot has been chosen to sort the mail bound for London from East Anglia this year. Mr Wood shows examples of some poorly packaged parcels that will not make their destination, and then delivers a message to viewers encouraging the public to post their Christmas cards as soon as possible.
